I just wanted to share with you guys. Last night I had my first prehospital delivery. Responded to a pt who possibly just had a baby. UOA found FD on scene with female and baby. Loaded her on the cot and my Medic handed me a slightly blue Baby boy. He did his thing with mom....i did my thing with baby...both are health!!!! It was by far the most awsome thing I have done as a EMT. I didnt get to catch it this time but oh well....i'm sure there will be another one that waits for my arrival before it pops out. B).
