Today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. And I didn't find out about it until now.

And you got to give it to pirates... all the pilliaging of Vikings, in a tropical environment... and as badass as ninjas... but better. Have you ever seen a ninja with wenches?

Arrgh, why doesn't ye sing us an old sea chant anyways. Thou hast 2 hours on the eastern coast time before this day leaves us. Arrgh.
 
Shiver me timbers I am ruined!!!! My own personal holiday lost at sea this day! Aye, we shall have to wait many a high tide ere we see this day again! Argh!
 
Um, if you are on Facebook, you can celebrate every day by switching your language settings to English(pirate).
Oh, yeah, Arrrrr and stuff.
 
ARRRRGH!!!! I called my dispatchers at 0600 and told the it was their mission to use the words "Arrrgh Matey" at some point during the day.

We managed to get a few, "Pirate Talk" trasmissions out without being to obvious, before my supervisor called me and asked whats with our voice. I just told him it must be that "bug" that is making its way through our service and I will get me some OJ to try to get a head of it... :P

You know, I always thought a good costume would be to dress up as a grim reaper and visit a nursing home. For extra effect, wear those shoes with the wheels in the bottom so you can just sort of glide through the halls.
