AMR Interview

Hello I was wondering if anyone would be able to offer any insight on the AMR interview. I received an e-mail indicating there would be a skills test of trauma and medical scenarios, my question is are these done on actual people or mannequins? My second question might be dumb, but do they want you to go by national registry protocols or by local protocols when indicating what kind of treatment you would provide your patients? Thanks in advance for any help. It is greatly appreciated.

Each division (area) of AMR greatly differs. I would go by local protocol for treating patients.

It could be a mannequin or it could be a person, the test examiners will (should) inform you on how far to undress someone during a trauma scenario.

My AMR interview included verbal scenarios the skills test came during the hire on academy/FI process. If you dont know local protocols front to back I'd use NR standards. Good luck.
