Hello fellow medics,
I finished EMT-B training 3 years ago and recently finished all my recertification requirements since they all lapsed. I'm finally ready and eager to start my new career and leave the graphic design industry behind. What I'm asking those of you that have been in the industry for several years is what's the best way to get started. Do I need a good functional resume highlighting my personal skills and traits instead of a chronological resume that focuses on expierience? For the past 12 years I've been doing graphic design, mostly freelance. How would I "sell" myself to an ambulance company? All I have is some non-treatment volunteer experience in a hospital Emergency Department and a few letters of recommendation.
Thanks in advance,
Pharoh
