Does anyone know about this place..if they hire emt-b, is it good experience..what hours you work, whats the deal with this place
 
Didn't someone just answer this question on another thread? Not trying to be rude at all, but make sure you check out the responses from there too.
 
Yeah. I answered it. They rarely hire EMTs, the shifts are varied, most are a set 48, same 2 days a week. Great experience... Lots of sick people, Lots of knife/gun trauma. Lots of high speed motor vehicle collisions. The pay sucks, the stations are pretty awful, the equipment is so so. In other words, A typical private ambulance company.

How much was pay for new hire medics?

No way...that's less than our Intermediates...hell that's what we pay our Special Events Basics.
 
No, just commenting on the pay. That's ridiculous. If you need a job you need a job but to be honest I'd be kind of insulted if they offered me 11/hr as a Paramedic.

Our rates are ~11/hr for special events EMT-B, 13-13.50/hr EMT-I on the ambulance and medics start at 17.50/hr with annual raises for EMT-Is and Paramedics.
