The following North Carolina counties are receiving ambulance crews: Charlotte/MEDIC (5), Brunswick (2), Franklin (2), Graham (2), Guilford (2), Macon (2), New Hanover (4), Pender (2) and Robeson (3).

An interesting item to note: out of the counties list the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th & 10th largest counties ARE NOT receiving assistance from FEMA, so the question might be if the county EMS agencies receiving assistance are normally understaffed and COVID pushed them over the brink, or if the covid numbers are truly overwhelming the county's EMS systems

And from what I am understanding FEMA is taking crews and trucks from areas that are short staffed already to help NC.
