    The Ambulance-staff in the Netherlands

Figures and opinions and stats vary for all the countries with Denmark ranked 1st, 2nd(the stats you looked at most likely) or 4th just to name a few. Feel free to split hairs with another search if you want. The gist is these countries are expensive as hell. And of course they have a lot...

    The Ambulance-staff in the Netherlands

Continental Europes 45-60% income tax rates are what pays for this stuff. Not a misprint, In Denmark for example at the top tax bracket you are losing around 60c in the dollar to the tax man. I'd take lower taxes and a community college/on-the-job trained paramedic any day thanks.

National Registry for international EMS employment

Go overseas. Africa as an example will take an EMT-I as a volunteer in about any of its 50 countries. Meet the local expats in paid work, network and hey presto score a gig somewhere. Worst case you come back without a job but great experience and stories for the grandkids. Its the way we...

    WEMT - International Job Prospects?

Always an option to crack the market is volunteering first in the 3rd world, esp places like Africa. Then use that to network and get experience moving into paid contract work. Working in Africa there is usually an Ex-pat network of volunteers, UN contractors, mercs, scientists, mining groups you...

    Aremt-p reg in australia??

And furthermore regards any credit I was referring to the EMT-P course the AREMT runs. Not the act of 'AREMT registration' itself. That 'registration' is just membership with a non-government org. It can't authorise practice or licensure in its own country and so its very unlikely to have...

    Aremt-p reg in australia??

'Accepted as a route' in this case usually means some credit is granted for a reciprocal study application. Its not remotely close enough to get you working in the UK by itself. Serious training or UNI time must follow. The list of courses accepted standalone by the HPC are here...

Post the # your test stopped at, and if you Passed/Failed

I'm still lol' ing at all the mystery and explanations and hopes and fears surrounding this thing. Guys the only methodology to it is it makes the NREMT $70 every time it fails people, and with 6 possible retests they are obviously happy for people to invest in the future of the NREMT as much...

    NREMT-P failed test twice

i just find it so bizarre this whole lottery atmosphere and convention of fear around what is really a low level of industry assessement. You yanks really are being sold out cheaply with this second rate assessment tool. A human marked exam, with both essay, short answers etc. 1.Works...

Post the # your test stopped at, and if you Passed/Failed

Because the randomness and adaptiveness of these tests is what makes them a great sell to underfunded orgs who can't afford human testmarking staff. In short, they stink. Adaptive tests are actually an ancient 1950's concept where they got a guy in a glass window switching questions on the...

    My CLS Bag

Further to that, more contractors without medical care now. The US have their turn running the multinational hospital on one of the biggest bases and have denied access for all except military staff/their own contractors. They will handle life threats for contractors but nothing else. Some...

    My CLS Bag

didn't offend me, I have been with groups requiring their own outfitting also. They hire three tiers of security- expat-3, tcn and locals at the bottom but 1 level of medical kit, body armour, etc for everyone. You want something better you buy it. The idea of an enforced suitable standard of...

In theory and writing. In practice the requirements to have the role 1 ready can be delayed by various means.....by a few years or so ;)

    Career change/progression for Paramedics?

One of the big differences due to population is value of the dollar. USD- $1 AUS .83c NZ .68c And both the AUS and NZ dollar have slipped down to 50c to the USD when things are tough, which must hurt the standard of living as commodities are also a little more expensive there being...

Overseas Contractors what do you do with the money?

Also will add the US govt departments and major companies are the best paying, and can add a grand or few to the above figures depending on who it is. The Euro/canuck/Uk companies are generally a bit less. Also there are quite a few afghan owned companies getting huge. Some Afghan bigwig and...
