hello, my name is kevin, ive been a emt for 3 years. Im going to medic school this fall, and im just a little worried about math. Math is by far a hard subject for me, can anyone recommend a book or online website to help me with my math skills?

well obv i did forget to mention that i have gloves in my pocket. the reason i have a stethoscope with me is bc my ambulance company has crappy stethoscopes .. so i just carry, fits in my left side pocket perfectly.

Im just wondering what other people carry with them when there working. i see alot of ems professionals carry a few things and some that dont even carry. I always have my trauma sheers, littman stethoscope, pen light, mini l.e.d. light, and lots of pens

unfortunatly some companies wont hire unless they have 6+ months exp. some companies do. I got lucky and got hired into a company that had only part time positions available and worked my way from there. All depends on the company

There mainly looking at have you had any exp. on the car. They want to make sure you've used the stecher, using the back boards, c-collered etc. do u run on a fire dept as a volunteer? if you do you can say i have ran with ________________ fire dept since june and list what u do there.

In ohio, near canton, we ask the person, place and time (day), and sometimes if its a trauma or a severe loc, we ask 4. Our standard is A&OX3, but it all depends on the company.

yeah You know, you have a point, both my instructor and mom, said, i studied untill i fail the test. They both said, i know the stuff, i was just cramming everything into my head at once. I may further my career as a medic someday

confidence somehow, when i took my registry on the third attempt, i went in with the, i dont care if i pass or not attitude, i didnt get worked up, didnt get frozen on questions, and answered. idk if this will help but, maybe relax
