so im having alot of people ask me if they should use their emt B in florida to go to medic school or just stay a basic and try to be like an er tech. i dont know what to tell them. at first i thought to tell them get your medic and still do hospital if you dont want to be a FF. as jobs in EMS...

8K is a lot for a medic cert. do you know the pass rate for the school or talk to anyone who has taken the program? yes? also look a www.trainingdivision.com. i know what kind of program they have and its not bad. or www.emtinc.net they have a 4 month program for former military 18D's and such

its at 12% in north florida. but the Com college has had a record enrol. this past 2 years. so many people are going back to school. good for them :)

righteous go for it. dont let anyone talk you down. if you put in the effort and do the work you will be ok. and you can work in any part of nursing with your degree even CC. i do and so do many others. the bottom line will be is that you can always find people to talk down about the program...

i did my RN program through them and had no problem getting a job after the fact. everyone learns different. you will have to put in the study time, but if you do. you will be just fine. i say go for it. lots of us in Florida have:P

your pract. skills are good for 12 months from the day of your test. and i think your school gets a copy of your written results. i would say either go to them and take find out/ take a practice test to find out where you need help. take a refresher or sign up for like JB paramedic review and...

what happens if its been 2 years since your paramedic class but you have not taken the NREMT written test? i retook the skills test this year.

as a person who has taken courses at Pelham Training in Bloomington, Indiana i can say they will get you ready. i hAd a good time at the school. but be ready. the boot camp programs are alot of hard crazy work. get all the sleep you can before you go because they will be drilling you with info...

Hey yall I have a quick question. For the paramedic practical test should I study the skill shests and test off them or should I take a florida medical training institute 3 day NREMT practical test prep course

how should i go about getting a Paramedic skills Refresher? i need it to prep for NREMT P test. im good at everything except Oral boards and want to get ready for the test. im to far away from the paramedic school i went to a year ago and have been away and want to do this so i can start working...

yeah it was only 900 when i went but i know the pass rate for them is normally 95-100% my class had a 100% pass rate

I went to them for Emt school a few years ago and it was a good experience and they helped you out as much as you needed. They had about 6 people in the class that where just like you doing the same kind of work and such but just needed the NREMT cert. I say go for it.. you will be just fine...

how hard/Easy is the Florida State Paramedic Exam compared to the NREMT one of the students at FMTI asked me and i said i dont really know. his teacher told him to get one of the booklets from http://www.passmedics.com/home.php and it should help him pass the florida test (kinda odd?)
