I live in NJ, so we don't happen to be one of them, but I'd like to find out which states actually accept the NREMT as their sole certification for an EMT-B. Does anyone know? I thought I was a master googler, but I really have not been able to just get a list. Thanks!!!

I'm shocked they allowed this to happen. My day job runs a healthcare registry for a diff healthcare profession, and it CAN be a federal/state offense if they don't verify. That's some crazy shizno.
Paladin - I also live in NJ, and my instructor has been unclear about that... if I take the NREMT in Dec (when my course has ended) am I all set, or do I need to take both... I know I need to ask, its just been busy in class. LOL:)
