    Nightwatch comes to Tampa, Florida!

I guess it is my newness to the profession coupled with the fact that I am not practicing yet, I'm still very green and have a lot to learn.

    Nightwatch comes to Tampa, Florida!

Disappointed to see that it is being received poorly, I enjoyed it but I'm obviously biased.

    Nightwatch comes to Tampa, Florida!

Season 3 of the Nightwatch has been filmed in my home city! I was doing my EMT clinical rotations while they were recording, but I wasn't lucky enough to run a call with one of the film crews. A couple of my classmates ended up running calls with the crews...

The car thing is a school policy, I could buy one right now but I'm not allowed to have it on campus. I could probably figure out transportation (Tampa just started a ferry service to St. Pete) The bigger issue is my age requirement, because the only thing that could fix that would be a year...

    Would you.....

Taking a picture of something you did outside of your scope is just asking for trouble. Taking a picture, whether or not it is HIPPA compliant, is already risky.

Does a mental illness w/ in-patient hospitalization in the past disqualify you for EMS work?

He means that when you are hired, you are asked if your mental illness was related to family matters. If it is family related, you may be hired. If it is not family related, you may not be hired.

I carry my personal belongings (keys and whatnot), my penlight, my stethoscope, a pen or two, and a few "pocket PCRs" to keep notes on those calls you don't have time to input everything into the toughbook. Don't forget food and a few bucks for fast food if you get time. As stated many times...
