    Code Green Campaign Finances

It really is, but it makes sense. All I've been able to find is a comment on reddit claiming that the founders of CGC use donations for personal vacations. The sad thing is that I can't even find enough information to disprove that- there's absolutely nothing. Until they get it together enough...

    Code Green Campaign Finances

I recently lost a family member to a long run-out illness, and she was thoughtful enough to leave behind a small amount of money with the stipulation that I donate a certain amount of it to a charity of my choosing. After having been on the trucks for a little over a year now and having...

Ambulnz Health, LLC (Los Angeles County)

You all keep talking about your amazing business model, but explicitly refuse to explain anything about it. You're making high promises, and refusing to provide any evidence that you can make good on these. This is the complete definition of snake oil.

Ambulnz Health, LLC (Los Angeles County)

Not sure if it's been posted, but they put an ad up on the EMS subreddit a couple days ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/ems/comments/5g5hk9/ambulnz_job_fair/ It's speshul

    Best SLC, Utah EMT classes?

I had a great experience at EMT Utah's EMT-B course in early 2016. It's a bit accelerated (7 weeks) so it requires a little more extracurricular work, but if you're dedicated and learn your stuff, it should set you up well.

Did i mess up will.i get fired

Flipping through your posting history, OP, I'm seeing some very telling symptoms of WorryWortitis. It's not an uncommon condition among new workers, and is fortunately often managed with a simple administration of job experience. If you find that experience isn't helping and it's affecting your...

    Supporting young aspiring EMT's

Joining EMS, I knew I'd be seeing some crazy and messed up stuff. Nothing could have possibly prepared me for this level of savagery, though

    Summer Marathon Hypothermia

You remove the clothes you can and wrap her several blankets. You radio OLMC for an ambulance transport (you don't have cell reception) are are told that a bus will get to you in 60 to 90 minutes. Given the extended time you'll be with your patient before she can get to definitive care, will...

    Summer Marathon Hypothermia

Sorry for the delay! My computer took a crap on me, and I just got a new one. You don't have access to O2, EKG, a thermometer, or pulse ox. Your volunteer service is trying really really hard to not be bad, but it's kind of struggling, tbh. Pupils are PERRL, speech is slow, but not slurred...

    Summer Marathon Hypothermia

Forgot to mention- Throughout the process, she is becoming cold to the touch. Also, as you are on the radio with OLMC, it begins to rain heavily.

    Summer Marathon Hypothermia

It's mid-June, around 1030. You and your partner are running a first aid standby station at Mile Marker 17 of a mountain marathon. The morning was a bit chilly, but it is quickly climbing to the day's high of 80 degrees F. It's clear and sunny now, but there are clouds on the horizon. Your...

Post the # your test stopped at, and if you Passed/Failed

I knew that I failed too. In fact, I got my acceptance email while I was looking up how to retest. In fact, I don't know a single person who walked out of testing feeling confident about it. You got it! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Similar question- I took my yesterday, and just got the results today (I passed!) Did they ship the patch and letter automatically, or did you have to order them off of the website?

L&S Ambulance surrounded and stopped by ATV riders- What would you do?

That's interesting- I had initially heard that it was a 911 call with a high priority pediatric case.

L&S Ambulance surrounded and stopped by ATV riders- What would you do?

I've seen this response on other forums a fairly surprising amount. Seems to me that you would be risking some serious potential repercussions- both professionally and legally. As an EMT working on an ambulance, would you be protected in that situation?

L&S Ambulance surrounded and stopped by ATV riders- What would you do?

By now, a lot of us have heard about Monday's event in Washington, where as many as 30 ATV riders essentially performed a rolling roadblock and stopped an ambulance that was transporting a child to the hospital with lights/sirens. One of the ATV drivers forced a door open and accused the...
