i want to start volunteering(emt-b) to get some experience.
i have no idea on how to go about finding a place to volunteer with, or even who i can legally do it with.
my town is covered by acadian, and they are private, so no volunteering.
what are likely places to try? hospital, fire...
my search for employment as an emt/er tech has failed.
i found a job manufacturing measuring devices starting at $12/ph(around what emt-b's make here) with lots of overtime and a $2/ph bump after 6 months.
while i would like to work as an emt i dont see it happening.

what daybag/pack do you currently carry, your personal bag to hold your personal stuff. ie: personal meds, chargers, tablet, lunch, etc...?
i hate digging thru a pack for something, so would like one with lots of pockets, but not be too giant.

i passed my initial interview/hire on tests with corporate.
now i have a follow up interview with operations of the area ill be working out of(if hired ill be in a rotating position working with several crews in several areas as needed).
any advise?
