And in real life at any company I've worked at, everyone judges new hires based on their performance, not some silly bit of tribal lore that holds that you can't be a good medic if you weren't an EMT for XX years first. You may not care about that, but it is what it is....

Not sure what you're asking here. In what used to be called 'dry drowning' (Experts in the field now only recognize/use the term drowning - it's a process, not an outcome) the major finding was that the lungs were dry; asphyxiation was caused by the larynx spasming and closing off the airway.

No. I already had (have) an advanced degree, so I took the Admin core courses as electives but graduated with the Paramedicine A.S. instead of the B.S.
