AMR written test - what was your score?

I took my test with AMR and I'm pretty disappointed with my results (was top of my class and felt confident with most of my answers). Some of the questions included vocabulary I wansnt familiar with and I had to guess but it's was just a few. I passed but was told that my score was average. I...

Post the # your test stopped at, and if you Passed/Failed

Took my test last night and the computer shut off at around 70 questions. It was the most challenging test I've taken so far and really weird. I was a wrack and spent the night checking results. Was certain that I failed. Results finally posted at around 4 am and I passed!

Im not as strong as i thought i was!

I started heavy lifting in August and dropped a good amount of body fat. I started off with stronglifts 5x5 and now moved to 5-3-1 mostly doing compound movements. Another good program is "starting strength". Look those up. The info is free. Weights, even heavy weights, won't get you bulky.

    Start EMT-Basic Program tomorrow

Tons of people in my class failed the midterms. Take the program seriously (not saying that you aren't ;)). Go "elbow deep", don't be a wallflower, ask questions and study, study, study. Take your skills seriously from the get-go.

    How often do you workout?

I lift heavy weights three times per week. Mostly compound movements and few isolation lifts in between. Cardio about 1-2 times per week.

    Possible language barrier and age

Hi everyone! This is my first post here :) After years of self-employment and work with moms and babies (birth field), I decided that I finally want to pursue my career in EMS. It's something I strongly considered years ago and I'm at the point where I'm ready to go. My first consern is that...
