    Scene Safety Scenario #2

But, seriously. I think I might call for PD once I realized there was ETOH and the agitation. If it's too late for that it's possible that I might work with my partners and hold him down until there's a cop?

Stopping for an accident w/ unstable pt...

I don't think I'd ever stop if I already have a patient, regardless to whether or not they are stable.

    Unresponse choking pt.

**Unresponsive** The pt has a pulse, but isn't breathing due to an airway obstruction- They get CPR with a finger-sweep.. Can't the trauma from the compressions cause the patient to go into cardiac arrest?

    Scene Safety Scenario

That would be quite scary... I'd be pretty much hoping the cop would do something and I'd probably push the panic button on the radio..

    Getting pt. into ambulance

That's pretty much the reason I asked the question-- I wouldn't want to hurt my back because I attempted to lift someone with a toothache...

A quick one.....another COD one. sorry.

I'm not going to comment on whether or not tasers should always be used, because I honestly don't know... It probably was hypoglycemia, and the shock caused his heart to stop.. Can someone tell me what OC is? and shouldn't they monitor people in jail?

    Getting pt. into ambulance

Makes sense to me :) When the pt is in the ER they will be doing plenty of walking.

Blood Pressure - Even Numbers or Any Number?

I have always been taught to round up--I actually believe the EMT textbooks says that, not that it would actually make a difference..
