    well it dosnt really matter what you wear cause if the pt assessment is done well, your going to find it anyway. keep in mind some ppl have tattoos as a medical alert now( inside arm or wrist). so always keep an eye open and take a good history.

    thats always a good way to help to, its too bad you can't get some OR time or even time with an RT. that was a good rotation for me as well.

    well the only thing that really helps is doing it in real life we did it in the OR in my paramedic program. it helped me to make a good seal. does your school do any OR time?

    i have never forgot to put gloves on but i have gone to itch my face or brush my hair out of my face with some pretty gross gloves on not thinking, thank god i caught my self at the last second yuck!

    i hate PCRs so im not much help but for patches i write my vitals, RX and pt sex/age and CC. on a note pad then have that to keep me on track and keep it short, they put the mic down after the first 2 mins.:sad:

    Id transport the pt in the lateral postion and stabilize the knife,(was never taught to remove an impaled object not sure what they teach you in the us.) and stop any major bleeding, put and NRB on and get a line going and make tracks.

    i think it should but i dont know what u guys can do in the US, but my program was longer then 120hrs. so if thats the case then um no it shouldnt be, but i think up here then yeah if your school is cma approved then more skills only help to advance ems.
