I know of University of New Mexico, UMBC, University of Minnesota, University of Utah, and University of Southern Alabama. These were the schools I looked at when deciding to go back to college. I decided on U of New Mexico because of the area and price.

While I agree that U of I is a good program, I feel that there are better options throughout the country. The U of I program is very condensed. Don't get me wrong, I've worked and trained a lot of great medics from that program. However if you can truly move anywhere in the country for medic...

Eastern shore maybe? I've heard of one private out there back up 911, but not being the primary. I have a few friends working at life star an I've heard numerous things both good and bad. They are all IFT from what they've said. I've never heard of them run 911.

That's my thought as well. I asked around at work and the only medic who had heard of it was a guy that's been a medic for 25 years.
