If you're looking for BLS practical testing, the NREMT website is absolutely useless. EMT-B practical testing is coordinated by the state Dept. of EMS, and they should have a list of testing places and dates. I think you have to register 15 days in advance, but it would be a good idea to get it...
I've never heard of WEMT, just looked it up and it seems like a great idea. Do you know of how legal issues are handled for Rx though? Wikipedia says that in some cases there are standing orders for prescription-only drugs, including some narcotic drugs. Do these standing orders stop when a...
Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if you guys have any insights as to the difference between working in a rural environment and an urban/suburban environment? I know that a lot of times in a rural environment, it can take much longer both to arrive at the scene and to get to a hospital...

Alright, thanks! I'll look for ones that I can get to, and I'll talk to them. I honestly thought that there were NREMT practicals more often, but I guess not... thanks though!
Hey everyone, this looks like an excellent forum and I'm glad to join you all!
I was wondering if you might be able to help me with a question about the NREMT practicals. I tested in CT but am currently located in MA, which of course doesn't recognise the NREMT and therefore doesn't offer...
