So moving to Fl is possibility in the future. What is the avg pay rate of florida emts? In NJ it is possible to become an RN and challenge the paramedic boards without going through the medic course, does it work the same way in FL?

A year long EMT-B class? Why so long? Many private transport companies hire newbies right out of class. I don't know about temporary employment, you should try asking the companies.

that is an option, but i think what the crew did was slightly admirable since the guy was beginning to swerve. had they not pulled him over, the guy could have very well killed someone.

I work for a transport company. Pretty much all of our pts are seniors. So the most useless thing on here would be an OB kit. I don't think any bed bound 80 yr old ladies are going to be needing it.
