For my EMS squad you're pretty much always on duty, however before you do anything u need to radio in to the desk and once you do that your covered by insurance
Im not saying that their should be yearly fitness tests or anything like that but I think that we should all be in decent shape b/c we all know we do a lot more physical labor than the public thinks. I'm in pretty good shape being 18 I lift and run. What do you guys think?
gonna have to go with manual, you can use them easier in a rig,they wont break, and if something happens to them their cheaper to replace, plus i find autos take longer.
I know this forums been dead for a while but to answer a few questions
1) Wayne's got money and we use it on equipment and training
2) We don't transport in the rescue but can use it for triage or waiting for transport in MCIs
3)I'm on both Wayne EMS and Wayne Fire, EMS does extrications...
