hi drose, welcome to the forums. I can't really comment on the job situation and stuff down there, but I can tell you that up here it's very hard to get a job as an EMT for a large urban area without any experience, you might have better luck with rural services. The same sort of thing...

Dr. Jeff Guy who does "ICU Rounds" also does "Pharmacology for the Prehospital Professional" which is pretty good, at obviously aimed at Prehospital professionals. Overall he's pretty good, but sometimes he can be pretty annoying with too many "umm"s or lip smacking, but I can't really fault...
