The TC was UCLA. You are correct in that they were blank cards. The entire class had to write in our own names. I've been trying to get a hold of someone over there, but no such luck so far. :)
Has anyone had their ACLS or PALS card rejected because the training center did not type your name in? I'm facing this now, and I don't get it. No other company has ever had a problem with any of my certs, but now I'm being told that I need to request a replacement because my name was...
Honestly, I can go either way on the types of calls. They both have their pros and cons. What interests me more is the overall company attitude, i.e. are people generally happy there? Do they have a high turn-over? Etc... I know you're going to have people that like and dislike a company...
Let me rephrase. I know about both companies in terms of what they do, the calls they run, their basic history, etc... What I mean is, from an employee POV. How's employee moral, etc...?
Have offers from Bowers and Americare on the table. I know very little of each company. Any idea who would provide a more solid option for long-term employment... i.e. work through medic school and transition to paramedic at a later time.
Good? Bad? Any non-biased, non judgmental, info...
OK look, I realize this is going nowhere. I never said you were fired. I was making a point that everyone has a reason for their feelings about the company/companies they work for, or used to work for, and that there are 2 sides to every story. Clearly you didn't understand that.
You can try...
See, this is what I mean. You seem to harbor some ill feelings toward the company which makes me wonder if your opinion is a truly valid one. In essence, can you be unbiased in your advice? Where I work now, I work with a guy who spends all day bad-mouthing Schaefer. He has nothing but bad...
I think what Chan means is that you find that "corruptness" all over. I agree, no company is perfect and I'm sure we can all find the good, the bad, and the ugly with just about every company. The way I see it is... There's always 2 sides to every story. Then there's the truth. The company I...
Can you provide proof of this? I've not heard this from others. No offense, but many people love to put down the company they "used to work for". I'm not saying that's the case with you, but I'm sure you know that many people have different feelings about different companies. For example.. I...
I hear that! Mine went well, I think. We started with 9 then after the written test we had 4. I nailed the written test, with a near perfect score, then got a little worried as I stumbled a bit with a couple of skill questions. I did have to talk through a rapid trama assessment, and...
