There is a list of core competencies in each textbook, layed out in an easy to understand format. You are expected to know these items.

That is what you need to know to pass the National Registry.

You're below passing in all those subjects? What are you actually passing? But DE has a good thought up there. Go back through the book and work through all the practice questions in it.

I don't think the problem is too MUCH information. Not knowing what to do with it? Not enough? Not organized in how you process it? What it says you are below in just gives you a pointer in what you need to add some emphasis in when you study, but you shouldn't just focus on any one thing. Study all of it and just have times where your studying is much more directed at certain weak spots and then others where you are maintaining basic competencies. You might not need to know the teeny building blocks of the pancreas, but you need to be familiar with whatever is in your book.

Wait... the pancreas is made of teeny blocks?

Like lego blocks?

Cool!

Um....If you mean your basic vitals, all of them? If you mean referred pain sites, that's a bit more understandable if you don't know them all.

Start with normal/not normal of basic vitals. Those can tell you a lot. Outside of vitals brush up other things like bright/dark blood with GI, the fruity smelling breath, pink frothy sputum etc. since those will be a few s&s included in your book.

I'm looking at a few different sources on signs and symptoms. One site only focus on 40 terms like heat stroke, appendicitis etc. another site has about 60 terms. Then the textbook seems like it has over 100 terms ,thing like poison bites, hypothermia etc. which a lot of these have very similar symptoms like dizziness and rapid breathing. I was thinking I should narrow it down so I don't look at unnecessary information...

Well with heat stroke, eventually you will notice the patient isn't sweating for one. Appendicitis has a periumbilical pain that moves to the rlq. Just a few little tidbits for ya. That's what can be hard though, there are a lot of things that will have shared signs. Gets easier as you do it more putting the big picture together.
