Seen them around town (First Choice Ambulance) a few times. New company; probably no more than 3 years old. Most likely an IFT company so you'll probably handle a bunch of dialysis calls. They're one of the few companies that constantly spam CL looking for new EMTs - which could mean a few things (high-turnover rate, rapid company growth, etc.). I don't work for them; I've just seen them around a few times (mostly around Kearny Mesa where they're based and around UCSD - probably where they pick up for transfers).

I've seen their rigs, and they're all old, refurbished rigs (possibly bought from AMR?). Kinda crappy paint job (you can still make out the old company who they bought it from), with worn out tires. Then again, that's how most new IFT companies look like until they can get on their feet.

Yeah I interviewed for them yesterday! Really liked their company it's small but you can tell their just starting out. They are looking to hiring a lot of new people because their signing a huge contract this week. They only have about 5 rigs but I think it would be a good place to start. The supervisor is very nice!

Pretty much this.

Mostly scheduled dialysis but you will get some er calls. Currently ~20 employees so hiring is mostly due to expansion. There are a lot of ups and downs with each company but one of the pros here is that everyone is friendly towards each other and management is pretty chill. Its a pretty good place to start imo.

Do you work with this company? Had anyone heard of A.R.t.?

I've seen them around once. I'm not sure if they're accredited by the county to operate. I know First Choice is. ART is most likely another IFT company (dialysis, transport calls), probably similar to First Choice, maybe even less rigs.

If so what benefits do they have? How is the company over all? And how Lon have you worked there?
