Last week or so Ive been questioning the blasted reason the deities decided to send me to B.F.E Texas....So here it goes
I get Lost take a wrong turn see the Fire Department think,"Wth Lets go see"
Turns Out that the FD wasnt Hiring yet nor taking applicants into the Academy (Fine and Dandy) But one Man there actually runs an EMS service
Now I applied at the Hospital which was a song and dance that led to nowhere..it sucked and I couldnt get a straight answer but,"retake the course"
I told the gentleman that I am EMT B certified and that includes NAtional Registry...Sooooo I explain to him,"Everyone wants experiance htf can I get experiance out of school if noone is willing to hire"
He asked me to turn in my resume he calls me this morning he was at the office so I take in my resume (Looking rather stunning to boot) and sit and talk he says he rarely has to fire people and it takes a lot..asked me why I left my law enforcement career I explained that when I was 7 I saw Backdraft which pushed me towards firefighter..even as a child Ive wanted to help people but Law enforcement was My Dads dream and not mine..that I want to attend the fire academy as well as pursue Paramedic....
he took my registration had me fill out paperwork...ect...next thing I know he says as soon as my Tx registration goes through call him so I can start immediately...hands me my uniform shirts
I FINALLY got the break I was needing I think this is why we wound up in Tx
(Thankfully I speak spanish ROFL.....we are like 3miles from Acuna Cuidad)
Thank Goddess I got lost last night or I wouldnt have found the Fire station..he was filling in last night for someone and wasnt supposed to be there... I dont question Fate anymore..I believe that it exists...what are the chances yanno?
