Where are my manners...

Yes I was horrified.

She made ACP history there.

Like really... Who does that!?!?!?!!

they should have given her a medal or something, at least some sort of participation ribbon... haha

no kidding. UMMM thanks for coming out and hopefully we won't ever see you again!

I shall tell you a tale

My instructor is an examinor there and he had this girl who obviously had an UNCONSCIOUS hypoglycemic Pt. Anyways, she's like "Yeah, i'll just administer oral glucose" and Graham was like "Okay, but she is unconscious. She won't take it." and she's like "well then i'll just put it on a tongue depressor" and he's like "He won't swallow it. His teeth are clenched." and shes like "Well i'll just pry open his teeth." and he's like "They don't stay open." and shes like "Well are the OPAs the ones with the holes in them" and he's getting tired and gives up and was like "Whatever you had" and shes like "OH GOOD! they are.." "Oh good" so then she says "I will put the Oral glucose down the hole and bag it into him."

Now that's what I call "thinking outside the BVM." ;-)

Sounds like a case of "The wheel is spinning, but the hamster is dead."

It was awful. I could barely stand to listen to that story.

I've heard it twice I believe before that and every time is disgusting.

Seriously! Hey - at my service, 2 of our 4 full-time supervisors are also Deputy Coroners. It makes for lots of sick humor.
