I'm a Canadian that is looking at becoming a paramedic, and considering moving to New Orleans. But I don't know if it's worth it to do my schooling here or to do it there.
What should I do for my training?

Well, I guess the first question would have to be where is it exactly that you'd like to be a paramedic? Training and education standards are not standardized across the globe. Achieving certification here will not apply there, and vice versa.

I would have to agree with the above. You should first know where you intend to work as a Paramedic as this will be the primary driver as to where you should do your schooling. Paramedic education does vary considerably from Country to Country. Once you have decided basically where you want to work, then the next steps will be a lot more clear.
