Hello. I'm an EMT-B in CA and was wondering if anyone would be able to walk me through the process in certifying in FL as an EMT-B, being that I am out of state at the moment. I have already taken the NREMT and have passed, which appears to be the exam FL uses for the state EMT-B cert. So far I've submitted an application online, which was somewhat confusing. I don't really know what to do from here and what to send it at this point.
I'm not certified in CA, as I'll be moving to FL and don't want to spend money to certify here as I don't plan on working in CA as an EMT.
It would be really helpful if someone that has moved to FL from another state has gone through this already. *
