What do you do for Fun in Dull Moments

What do you often find to do for fun when there is nothing going at the station (no chores, no calls, nothing on TV)?
 
Further my knowledge, study protocols, clean the rig
 
I've been reading Clinically Oriented Anatomy, or I'll talk with people at the station about whatever.
 
Netflix.

Sleep.

Eat. Seriously i eat a ton while on shift, i think its probably because we get bored.

recliner: sleep/video games/ movies. i pass through the gym to use the restroom.
 
Read my textbooks from school. Sounds cheesy, but Im always picking up new stuff. :)
 
Oh yeah, I do occasionally bring my xbox with me, it depends who my partner is though :P

Lol, gaming systems were outlawed at our stations when there was an actual fistfight over something between the juniors. Poor us, we have to entertain ourselves with just our phones.
 
Oh my friend there is all ways something to do at our stations, and if your on probation you better find something to do, or that will be the quickest career you ever had.:P

Hahaha, now that is just funny :P I suppose it's a little easier when you only have two people at the station at a time :P
 
There are some days that I read half a book at post and other days where I don't open my backpack and play on my phone for 13 straight hours. Sometimes we go on sightseeing trips too since we don't have GPS in our trucks. I need "driver training," I'm new ok? :rofl:

Haha for some reason that conjures a funny image. So they screwed the line staff over the junior's? How is that fair?

I think we have something like that. I've been told its about 3 miles from where the 24hr car posts for about 12 hours of their shift :rolleyes:
