doing a project for my EMT class. We have to come up with an invention that could improve EMS or make it easier.

Portable battery-powered Hoyer lift that can safely go up and down stairs with a patient on it.

Then we fire half the EMTs afterwards.

More for dispatch, but a program that screens calls and automatically hangs up on callers that don't need an ambulance would be pretty helpful.

Automatic recliner opener.

White noise generator to drown out partner, in matte black tactical finish.

Self carrying bags.

Telephone that electrocutes patients who call 911 for pure BS.

A quick-attach and release harness that would anchor the medic in the back to the ceiling of the truck, keeping them from being thrown into a cabinet should you hit the brakes while they're standing up.

They are already having something similar in newer ambulances. We just got new ambulances with the retractable harness seatbelts, captain chairs that move forward and rotate instead of a bench, and we even got the Stryker auto loader system.

True, but you can't actually stand and do CPR and whatnot with a harness seatbelt.

Can the intervention be more education similar to what is done in countries like Australia, New Zealand, and elsewhere?

Invent portable liposuction and make it a BLS skill.
