Wahooooo!!! Cut the cake and let's party!!!!!

Congrats!

60 WEEK Class? As in over a year? Theres something wrong with that equation, even if its just 8rs/week.

EDIT: It all makes sense, I presume you meant 16 weeks.

Least no one could say that he only did the minimum amount of hours! :P

Congrats man!

no, it's 60 wks. it's actually EMT-B and intermediate rolled into 1 class, plus intubation and IV cert. as well

That tends to be what an Intermediate is.
Not in Illinois. At least when I practiced there, we had about 10 or 15 drugs (depending upon the medical director) that we could give beyond the BLS protocols.

Oh that is so great!!!

Nice.....real professional. At 60 weeks of training, he'll have more class time behind him (assuming more than one day per week of class) than a lot of the medics in his part of Illinois. That is the longest combined class I've ever heard of. Normally it's the four months for Basic and then 4 months for Intermediate. He should actually come out pretty well educated.

So I's in Illinois CAN'T start IV's or intubate without the extra certs?
