Hey everyone my wife and I are looking at moving back to the Austin area but would be willing to go elsewhere, we just miss Texas. I recently finished Paramedic school in Tacoma and have NREMT-P, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS certs. I see Williamson County EMS is hiring...any other suggestions. I just need to find some kind of job so we can move, my wifes old employeer said she has a job if she moves back! Thanks
 
You'll need to be on your game for WilCo's test.

ATC probably won't be hiring medics any time soon.

San Marcos-Hays isn't a bad service, don't know if their hiring, though.

SAFD is taking applications right now. Pay and benefits are unbeatable by just about anybody in the country. SAFD EMS is making tremendous leaps and bounds right now, too.

Schertz just got done hiring, so won't hire again for over a year.

That's all I've got for central and south central.

Plus Acadian has a decent relocation allowance, which would pay to get you from Tacoma to TX.

I think there is also a large sign on bonus (plus relocation) if you go to the Houston and maybe Beaumont areas.
