I'm looking to talk to anyone who is within the El Paso, TX area and affiliated with the several ambulance services there to try to secure an EMT-B slot. I was with an ambulance company for a bit but they have yet to put me on their schedule and give me hours. If anyone knows of any info regarding new hires, open positions, etc. please PM me, I've been calling around but no luck so far. Thanks.

El Paso is a tough market. Dominion, Elite, and Life are it. New Mexico Elite or AMR might be better.

I was with Dominion for a little and worked exactly 3 shifts. They won't take me off probation status or give me any hours so I had to find a job somewhere else (which isn't EMS related) and I want back in. I would like to try to work with Dominion but, in the interest of not slandering them, I'll just say say that we don't see eye-to-eye and I'd rather work somewhere else.

I was in that posistion not too long ago, my supervisor wouldn't pass my probation because he thought I scratched his car with my rig's door *which never happened* I even offered to have his car detailed. Sometimes things happen like that, wish you the best of luck bud. Good thing non-ems jobs are easy to find.
