Hi, I took the Emt class in Feb. 2011 and finished the end of May. I took the state practical, but my test scores were lost. Then about two months later took the NREMT exam. I failed by 10 questions.

Questions are I was thinking of taking a refresher, an online class, or a 10 week bridge class. First question is an online Emt class worth it or a scam? Second question if I take the refresher will be cutting it close till the time my EMT course expires. So for example if I past my testing and receive my results prior to a year. Do I have to start over again?

Appreciate the response

How do you know you failed by ten questions. the cbt uses percentages to determine baseline competence on specefic subjects.

I have heard emtb.com is a good place to study. jb learning also has some great online products and books.

I believe you have 2 years to take the written and 1 year for practicals for the NREMT if I'm not mistaken.

Sounds like you could redo your practical testing then do the CBT for NREMT if you wanted to.

So they lost your test scores and you didn't raise hell about it? I don't get it.

I was offered it for free before a year is up. However, I started a new job in the fall and faded after that.

Jus depends if you can learn online , and be self disciplined enough to stay on course .If so go for it , if not or doubt it then sign up for in- class time
