Trouble finding a position in CT

Hi everyone,

First time here. I'm a recently certified EMT-B. I volunteer with my town ambulance at least once per week.

I have been trying to find paid work, without success. I interviewed at AMR but didn't get a position (I guess they had a lot of applicants). I've also sent my application into all the other local ambulance services in the area.

Any suggestions?

The only advice I can give is keep trying. EMT-Bs are flooding the market at an astounding rate (just think, if you only count community colleges, each one is putting out anywhere from 10-25 new EMT-Bs every six months or so. And there really aren't anywhere near that many positions being created every six months.)
