Hi everyone,

So I'm finally getting a bunch of interview invites for med school and will be traveling the country over the next few months. If anyone wants to get together for lunch or something as I'm traveling, let me know.

Current travel plans:

Kirksville, MO (AT Still University) 2/25-3/1

Fort Lauderdale, FL- "3/4-3/7"

San Francisco, CA- "4/28 (subject to change, no travel plans yet)"

Osteopathic Medicine?

Nova-Southeastern University is a good school.

Definitely fine some time in both SF and Ft. Lauderdale to be a tourist.
 
Don't forget to let me know when you'll be in Florida. Fort Lauderdale is only two hours away!

Yep, Touro, AT Still, and NSU are all osteopathic. Personally, I'll take DO over Caribbean any day of the week. I'm definitely taking at least a few days (5 days at least: fly in, relax, interview, relax, fly out), but depending on how my thesis is going I might extend my time at either place.

San Francisco is an awesome city, I love my bay area. Hit Coit Tower, Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard but only if u dare. Hit me up when ur here, we'll see whether im teaching or not
 
Kirksville, eh? That means you are probably flying into Lambert St. Louis International Airport and driving up to Kirksville? If so, you'll literally drive right past my house located off of highway 70.

There's a Bread Company right off the highway by my house and it's easy off on and on the highway. Great place to coffee up! Let me know.
 
I'm actually flying into Des Moines this time around. When I interviewed last year I flew into Quincy, IL and drove from there, but I couldn't find a good flight time this year and Northwest Airlines customer service made me mad, so I'm avoiding them like the plague.
