I'm looking for opinions/impressions about this company. I might start looking for a part-time EMT job this summer; Transcare does some IFTs and some 911s in the vicinity of where I live and I was wondering what they are like.
Thanks in advance.

Transcare (formerly Metrocare) in NYC?

Transcare operates in my area (pittsburgh) where they do NETs and Nursing Home 911s. From what I hear, they actually aren't a bad gig to work for. The pay is great, and I've spoken to some medics and EMTs that have worked for them and apparently the management is done quite well. Speaking as someone who works for two 911 services, I would focus on the part about them paying well ;-)

I briefly worked for them when I worked in Baltimore as a Medic. Decent Company

I just got hired by Transcare.

They start off pay is alright, $11.25 they're mostly a transfer company but they do respond to nursing homes they're contracted with.

I'm still in the orientation phase, but PM me if you have any more questions or anything.

Holy :censored::censored::censored::censored: its a small world......

If you go to Transcare in the Bronx, you can start out IFT and then eventually get a raise and break into NYC 911.

Oops, by bad, I thought you were in eastern PA, not western.
