Hey guys,
Well Tuesday was my first time taking the NREMT and I failed.. My NREMT was based on all scenarios and I realized there was always two great answers. As I have read and as my paramedic students have also discussed ABC airway airways, i guess i took that way too far and every question even based with bleeding i'd address with AIRWAY and I found myself flying through questions.. Well it kicked me in the behind, so now i am asking for help which would be the best way to study for this NREMT, i have a bunch of books and nothing... :glare::sad:
First off, don't worry about failing the first time it happens to plenty of great emt-b and medics.
Now remember this is a basic test, so with that being said think basic...AIRWAY is THE most important thing u can do for a pt in those scenarios that i found in my test a tleast.
Now when i studied for NREMT i did a horrible job, but passed.
What i can suggest is go over AIRWAY,protocols, LEGAL,TRAUMA and of course OB and medical.
Go over vital signs for PEDS!!!!!!!! and of course adults
know the RR rate
HEART rate
and bp for peds and adults
but don't stress on it because u know it already, go simple on those answers DO NOT READ IN to the question and remember this is like a SAFETY test they want you to prove your competent to work in the filed on real life people
relax, studie in 30 min intervals and DO NOT STUDY 1 day before the test
did they send u the sheet on what to subjects to work on?
