I have a question, my NREMT expires in 2 years but my Texas certification expires in 4 years. Do I have to maintain my NREMT for the 2 years and then CEU for both? Do I even have to maintain my NREMT?

Contact your local EMS office and look at your agencies policies.

You do not need to maintain your NR to work in Texas. If there's a potential for you to leave Texas, then keep it. If you want to maintain NR, those hours can be applied to your TX cert (I believe maintaining your NR gives you ample hours to maintain TX)

Texas has 3-4 different ways to maintain Texas certification/licensure. Maintaining your National Registry is but one way.
