I took my EMT-B state test last week and i havent recived my paper in the mail telling if i passed or not yet but i heard that you can find it online. I am from the state of Va. So if you know how to find out weather you passed or not online let me know.

4. Can I get my test results on line?

The Office does not post test results on-line. Official test results are mailed directly to the applicant based upon the address provided on the Certification Test Application.

When I took my EMT-B class many years ago, part of the class was an explanation of how the certification process worked, included probable time line for processing my cert, who had to sign what forms and at what point I was legally able to provide care.

Are classes leaving this out now, or are people just not paying attention?

Mine talked about it too and walked us through the procedure of how to get our license!

It's sad but that's probably the real reason why no one pays attention to that part.
