Ted Setla

For those of you that have been around EMS for a while and were involved or interested in EMS blogs and social media, you probably know about Ted Setla. He was a paramedic in Alaneda County CA with AMR and was the videographer for the Chronicles of EMS, Beyond the Lights and Sirens and the movie “Level Zero”.

Ted suffered a cardiac arrest last week and was resuscitated but did not recover. He was a huge, positive force in EMS, a super good guy and a friend to a lot of us.

If you’re a praying sort, please spare a kind thought for his memory and a prayer for peace for his family.

RIP, sad, he really was such a positive guy it seemed. Unfortunately never got to meet him, prayers for his family.

I am so sorry to hear that. Sending prayers and condolences to his family. May his soul rest in paradise.

Ted was an amazing guy that worked at AMR in Alameda County with me. His movie "Level Zero" was very informative and entertaining. I did enjoy watching it. Ted always had a smile on his face and was a positive guy to be around. Sadly this seems to happen too much in this industry. Lots of folks that I've worked with are now gone by no fault of their own.

I found a copy of "Level Zero" at Ted's web site at https://www.setla.com/portfolio/levelzero/ . Before anyone made an ongoing live EMS TV show, was this movie. RIP.
