I recently graduated and got certified as an EMT so I am now seeking employment. Can anyone tell me anything about Symons in San Bernardino? It's just one of the places I'm interested in.

All I can tell you is they have 3 different divisions. They have a 911 contract (I think in Biship CA) an IFT division and then their event safety division.

Do you know anything about their age requirements? I've looked over their whole website and only read that you need to be 21 to drive their ambulances. I'm 18 and interested in event safety.

For their event safety you have to be 21 to drive their ambulances, due to insurance reasons. They will hire under 21 year olds. You will be used at some of their larger events where they need more than just an ambulance crew. So your hours are going to be very limited.

They give out events based on seniority. So it's going to be very limited as to how much you work. Pay is minimum wage (or at least used to be very close to it).

Thanks for the info I really appreciate it

I use to work for them. Bishop is 911. The OC San diego and riverside stations are BLS ifts and CRitical care transports. The events are pretty cool. They got the Glen Helen raceway, San Manuel amphitheater, they did burning man last year. The oc station just got new ambulances also. Not bad starting company. Pay is minimum wage though. If your in OC area you should try Care. There hiring like once a month it seems like
