Im from there and miss it So badly.......Tell me how you like it? Id love to go back and work as a medic with C&C But its so tough to get in over there even as an emt now....

Yeah, Honolulu FD. So far I love it here. Biggest stressor so far as a Recruit is the fact I'm not the greatest cook and everyone in the dept. Is a Foodie lol...cooking is more an event than anything lol. That and while we have companies that'll run their butts off every shift I'm at one that considers 1-2 calls a day a fairly busy day lol...would like a little more experience, but otherwise, I'm at a pretty decent station with a good crew so I can't complain lol

Yeah EMS is pretty busy themselves, they definitely need an extra unit...or five. I guess that's the main downside to county services, you're at the whim of the municipal budget if you wanna hire more EMTs and Medics.

But I think I'd have been happier being an EMT here for C&C than back in LA lol
