So in addition to my full time at the IFT I help out at a local community pool. I'd love to help them source out and get some additional equipment for the facility.

Looking to see if anyone has a source for some used spine boards we can use for training and use on deck for extractions. I know I've seen pictures of ED runs to grab left boards where the back of the ambulance is floor to ceiling.

Call your local ambulance service or fire department.

They're not expensive, and you'll only need one.
 
Seriously, ask your local ambulance company. I'd bet they'd give you one.
 
Yeah, go find your local Ambulance or fire dept and ask. Most agencies are moving away from using them. I know re removed hundreds from service. I can only imagine they're just sitting in storage.

Go to your nearest ED and steal one from the ambulance bay. Each backboard has a story to it ....
