State Card (Ca)

I am a new Emt-b in southern California and am starting to look at job listings and found a few that ask for a state card. What is a state card ? I have a cpr card,nremt card, a medical examiners green card,emt cert,live scan.I am planing to test for a ambulance drivers lic test soon..Is there anything else I am going to need?

Go to your local EMS office for the county and fill out an application and pay the fees (CA state fees, County fees, another LiveScan). And then you will get a state card.

You must have the state card in order to work. You can not work with only the NREMT card.
