Hello,

I am running a startup company and I am looking for a paramedic to join the team. If you are interested in the idea of working with a startup or perhaps advising one on a EMS related business, please get in touch.

Thank you,

David

It's like any start-up, you put in copious amounts of time and energy, give your very blood and soul to the project and if things go well you might get paid.

If things go really well you might get paid well.

Thank you.

I have developed a technology designed for insurance companies that is focused on improving efficiencies with respect to pre-emergency room transport and emergency room care.

I am looking for, inter alia, a business minded individual who has sales experience, positive connections to national EMS organizations, a thirst to improve EMS care provision and strong public speaking skills. Ideally the candidate is a paramedic but I am also open to considering emergency medical technicians with the aforementioned skills. Ideally the candidate will also have understanding of programming concepts and will be able to communicate efficiently with programmers.

That is still rather vague.

Not only is it vague, but in its vagueness it sounds quite a bit like something that would have a negative effect on the bottom line of EMS providers and a positive effect on the bottom line of insurance companies. At least, that's what "...technology designed for insurance companies that is focused on improving efficiencies with respect to pre-emergency room transport and emergency room care." sounds like to me.

Ball's in your court, EMTInterestedInBusiness, to prove otherwise.

it looks like a company producing software that integrates what is done on an ambulance with whatever system the ED is using to make sure there is no redundant billing from the description here.

Doesn't sound like it is going to work.

Rather interesting you say this. In fact the system will improve the bottom line of EMS providers and will be provided free of charge too.

So where is the money made?

there are only so many ways to make money and they are all known. That is not a secret. If you are giving away a product you must be charging for a service.

Nice try. But if this magical system does indeed integrate what is done on an ambulance with whatever system the ED is using to make sure there is no redundant billing it will do wonders for the insurance companys' bottom line by reducing payout while at the same time having a negative effect on both the ambulance service and the hospital for exactly the same reason.

Seems to me you should be hanging out on the insurance forums with this "offer".....
