I'm currently prepping to take the Southern Nevada Health District Protocol test for EMT-B. I got picked up by AMR and this is the last step before employment by them. I was raised and trained in Connecticut so this is something new. I'll be honest I am a hands on learner so studying the 172 pages of flow charts is getting to me. Sorting through Basic, Advanced and Paramedic all melded together. Can anyone suggest a path that worked for them or something maybe I'm overlooking when tackling this beast of knowledge.

It's basic. You're a basic. Keep it basic.

If you made it through class you can make it through this.
Know hospital destination criteria, pediatric emergencies, what meds you can give and at what doses. However, the whole book is in play. You'll be fine.
