And I'd argue a TEMS response to an active shooter at a school is more important than granny that's non-compliant with Lasix with no acute emergencies in which EMS has nothing they can do besides provide a taxi ride... the same taxi ride that can be had by granny calling the number on the back of her medicaid card.TEMS is somehow more important than running a code on the 75 year old who was non-compliant with their Lasix.
Granny put herself in to that situation, the victims of the shooter didn't.
But aside from that, why is it bad for them to favor one type of work over another? It's all EMS.
I didn't say "contempt" or "hatred". YOU did.
You didn't have to, it was implied.
I prefer calls where I can use my education and abilities to help someone aside from just giving them a ride to the hospital. Guess I don't deserve to be in EMS, right?
