We here in Colorado are getting hammered by snow. I ran calls from 6 yesterday afternoon till 1100 this morning. Mostly MVA's and a few medicals. Thats a busy night on our volly dept. Right now I have over a foot of snow and we are expecting 3-6 more inches before midnight. Right now we have two crews out stranded one on a fire and one on a cold injury. We actually have two units from the city coming out to help them with some artic cat type rescue vehicles. I had one transport today that took me 4 hours of driving to go 35 miles and back. So... hows everyone else out there doing?? :D

Yeah, I know about your snow. Denver International was closed all day today, causing two flighs leaving from the airport I work at to be cancelled.

All I can say is better you than me! :P (I knew I moved to the desert for a reason :D )

My brother is supposed to fly out of Denver today. Let's up he's able to safely.

Colorado... did you hear about the 5 fatality wreck in Penrose last week?

It was 71 on Sunday. In NY. :)

Well if I set my AC any lower it'll be snowing in my apt....

I think the bank sign said 73 when I drove by today.....

but the sand here is the color of snow, does that count?

Sand angels anybody?

It was 83 on Saturday, and 65 today; sunny, windy, dry and what the hell are people thinking!?!?!?

everyone burns the winter yard waste... on a sunny, windy, dry day! Brush fires, grass fires, two forest fires... more brush fires in the past week than in the last two years!

I didn't have to work... so I just enjoyed the good skiing! A-Basin was great!

No I did not. I hope no one you knew was involved. I ended up with about two feet of snow on my front lawn. All of our crews made it home safely. It is supposed to be 70 degrees today!! Which is perfect as I am going into the city to pick up my partner who was injured in a MVA. (another topic thread) She is still in much pain so I am transporting her home in one of our rigs.

I thought it was a nice day to wash my rigs. Little did I know the fuel gauge was broken. Driving my nice shiney whacker one through the country side, one minute I'm 3/4 tank, the next I'm... damnit I should have brought my cell phone.
